Hi,

I have been doing the exercises for about a month now on a 2 on 1 off schedule. I've been doing this routine:

warm up in shower 5 minutes
stretching (45 sec out front, 45 sec right, 45 sec left, 45 sec between legs)
jelq (20-30 reps, 3-5 seconds per rep)
advanced jelq (30-40 reps, 5 sec PC squeeze followed be 5 sec stroke)
warm down 2 minutes

I've noticed that lately it feels like my flaccid penis is harder to stretch. I've also gotten a bump near the end of my shaft and I usually get blood spots. Is this all normal?

I've also noticed a little change in girth, but no gains in length or flaccid states. It has only been a month though, so I'm not expecting anything drastic.

So, are the symptoms listed above normal?

also... I am having trouble keeping a partial erection while doing advanced jelqs. Should I do more reps of the regular jelqs and less of the advanced jelqs?

Hello montyburns, and welcome to the forum! :)

Regarding your concerns.

Just where exactly is this bump located on your shaft? On the top, bottom, side? Is it sort of like "in" a vein, so to speak?

As for blood spots, it is usually a sign of having undergone an intense session. By intense session I mean by squeezing hard when jelquing, typically. Another reason could be the volume of exercises that a person is doing, but, from the looks of your routine, this shouldn't be the case! These blood spots usually subside by the time you are ready for your next session.

Overtime and as your penis develops more resiliency, the occurence of blood spots should gradually decrease. However, if you were to perform a very intense session, they may reappear. To lessen the occurence of blood spots, it is required that you do an adequate warm-up before you begin, and sometimes doing a mid-workout warm-up doesn't hurt either! Don't forget the end of session warm-up, too!

For this reason, warming up, I like to not do this in the shower because I can get the water a lot hotter from the tap and using this instead of just warm or lukewarm water from the shower, which may not be warm enough!

The advanced jelqs can be somewhat of a challenge, as you are squeezing the PC muscle for 5 seconds, and squeezing the PC muscle hard, especially for an extended time, has the tendency to cause an erection to subside a little.

A somewhat modified version of this advanced jelq would be to sqeeze your PC just quick enough to infuse new blood into the penis before jelquing. This wouldn't then be a 5 second squeeze!
You might have success then!

Another way to do this jelq would be to jelq at a slightly higher erection level. You wouldn't have to be forcing extra blood into your penis from the PC squeezes, as a higher erection level would already have this extra blood in it!

These are just suggestions, however!

Regular jelquing, with a quick PC flex before each jelq, is the style that I prefer! :)

thanks for all the advice. The bump is on the skin, kinda on top of a vein but definitely not inside the vein.

I take it the blood spots are from intense jelqing, because I do exercise very intensely because I'm usually pressed for time.

I'll give your jelqing techniques a try. Thanks alot!

Be careful when jelquing at a high level of erection. The chances of injuring oneself becomes easier when jelqing at very high erection levels (near/at 100%)

As an erection increases, the available room inside the veins, capillaries for blood decreases. You could end up rupturing a vein or capillary, or even predisposing yourself to the possibility of a thrombosed vein, because there is no more room left!

In this state of a full erection, you are maximally expanded. When we jelq with a partial erection, we are expanding the cells inside the penis, because there is room available for the blood to be manipulated around.
