Loss of Sensation

Is it normal to lose sensation of your penis during sex. Sometimes it goes completely numb and I will pull out thinking I've gone limp, but its still hard. Though after I lose feeling it does go limp before too long. This usually happens after ejaculation, but sometimes before ejaculation, too.

After ejaculation, your penis will subside in erection. You will lose some sensation of feeling, that is, your feeling of sensitivity that you experience while having sex is diminished somewhat. For some people however, they may retain this sensitivity level.

Most males however go into the refractory period, where it can take anywhere from a few minutes to hours or even days, depending on the person, before being able to have another erection.

As for your experiencing numbness, I suggest a trip to an urologist to have yourself checked out would be the best thing to do!
