I'm curious what people use for condoms? I'm sure not everyone uses them but for those who do I'm curious.

Do you usually go for thinner condoms for more feeling or try and get the de-sensitized ones so it'll last longer?

We usually use Trojans(can't recall the type offhand but I'll get it) the last two didn't do to well though, one broken and the other was incredibly tight and wasn't comfortable.

I've tried a few different things but not the de-sensentizing ones. No need for that if I have a condom on... ;) My experience is that the ultra-thins (no matter what brand) breaks a little easier than regular condoms even if the difference is only 0.01 mm. Maybe that last condom was tight because your PE is paying off? :D

I would also warn against putting too much faith in the Penis Size Debate pages. It's good reading but most of his "conclusions" are based on speculation and the scientific tests he outlines are just propositions to test whether size matters. They've never been done. The ideal size charts are also seems extrapolated from the average size of the vagina when aroused. So take most of the information there cum grano salis.

I have tried many condoms in my time, and it really depends on the type of condom as to my preference... I mainly stick with either Kimono or Trojan when it comes to condoms.

My favorite condom is the Trojan Supra. If magnum is a brand then I haven't tried them. I've tried the "extra roomy" Durex condoms though and personally I think they put the extra room in the wrong place. It has a slightly enlarged midsection which is fine, it's nice and tight anyway, but the same base size. That becomes a real problem because if the condom doesn't get down towards the base it will slip off (and has done so repeatedly for me). The only good thing about them is that if you do get them down around the base they kind of act as a cock-ring giving your erection a little bit extra "oomph".

I should say that my real problem with condoms (and having to move up to the XL version) didn't start until I broke 6" EG.

I know that Durex and London are selling condoms, specially designed for anal sex. I know there are some others, but i don't remember the exact name.
The thickness is also varying between usual condoms, like for example the ones i prefer (Durex Emotions) are a little thinner (for more sensititvity) than usual condoms.

I made good experiences in pharmacies (but i'm from Germany, so i can't say anything bout the UK or US market), they were friendly, discreet and had a rather big sortiment and could tell me some things about the differences... So, maybe You'll give it a try, though i'm sure, that somebody from the forum can and will give you some more detailled advise about thicker condoms...

You definately need to build up your pc muscle. That will help with a stronger erection and allow you to keep your erection up once you have built up your pc muscle. It takes time and the effects aren't over night, but it will work if you stay at it for a month or so.

I feel your pain; thats why I got married j/k:p Sounds like you have received some good alternative suggestions. I personally have had nothing but shitty experiences with these darn things. Out of my probably 10 condem experiences as a young pup; I've had about 3 breaks (you can even hear it), 3 fumbles (mishandled or applied), and 3 failures - brutal!
Keep in mind, rubber/latex taste like shit; I'n not sure I'd bank on any oral action - unless she's either mad freaky or mad hot over you.

I have had the same problems. I agree with the fellas in saying let the girl put the condom on for you. It will keep you erect or at the least semi-erect until you can put it in. You may have to rub it around down there to keep yourself aroused and then put it in. Once you have it in and start stroking you should harden up pretty quick. Just make sure that she is really wet before entering so that your penis does not start to go flaccid fast and if she is not very wet apply lubrication to the condom and then put it in. I know that I probably sound like your dad, but as you get older these things will work out. When I was in graduate school things were completely different. I was confident and I always managed to find ladies that were willing. Believe me it wasn't that way when I was an undergrad. Where to begin? With the appearance of deadly STD's over the years, I decided to always use condoms. Let me share some of the findings of my research. There are about five sizes of condoms out there. For me, the best results are obtained using the thin ones being sure they are large enough. I have NEVER had one break or tear. My girl and I get together once a week. Hope this is not considered spam. Your EG is 5 mine is 4.75 and I find a middle sized condom to be best for me right now. I prefer Trojan-enz LARGE lubricated in the green box to Magnum. I don't remember why. According to my research the next step is Magnum XL, and then Durex XXL. I realize that preference in this matter is very personal so I am just relating how it works for me. Experiment, experiment. Oh by the way, my girl did not like the textured condoms. We tried them because she was worried that she wouldn't like my dick as well with a condom and thought the texture might be the answer. For her, it wasn't. I've been having the same problem as of late, because I have been used to not using condoms. My advice that has helped me would to first, have her get you raging hard before you get the condom. Second keep it close by and we'll you're opening it have her stroke or suck you. Third make sure she is wet and ready so it does'nt take too long to get going once you're ready. Then finally when it comes time to put it on I clinch my pc muscle as hard as I can and insert as quickly as posible, making sure not to hurt her in any way. Once I'm in I try to make sure I'm in a male dominating position so I have control of the tempo and make sure I stay plenty stimulated.

That's a hard trick and if you're prone to losing your erection it probably won't stick around while she fumbles with the condom. The advice given so far is great so keep all of that in mind (condom close, stimulation while you open it etc.). I'd also suggest using a lubricant (non-oil based of course) on the condom because most condoms that are lubed are shit plus applying the lube is a good way of keeping your erection.

If you feel that you have to have the herbal stuff I'd go with a regular penis pill. I've had good results, with some of the hardest, won't-go-down-even-after-orgasm erections when using Maxxaman pills. If you find that the price for those is too steep try a simple L-Arginine supplement and see how it works for you. Horny Goat Weed, stupid name or not, or Tribulus Terrestris can also do the trick.

Soon, we might find that we already have as many types of condoms as Hallmark have cards. There used to be a time in another era when there was only one kind of condom out in the market, as far as the texture (or nubbing) is concerned. That has changed in monumental fashion. Nowadays, they can be adorned with latex or they can be ribbed. Some of them can just be on the exterior but some are studded both inside and outside. Presumably, this is also to provide the user with added enjoyment.

Exactly how many different kinds of condoms are out there? Are there in fact any significant differences at all? Basically, all condoms would fall under 8 categories in general, based on the primary consideration. These do not include the ones that would be invented tomorrow (knowing the ingenuity of today’s generation, they will come up with something). The first is the material; it is either made from polyurethane or latex. Second is the size that involves the width and not the length. However, those available in convenience shops are standard-sized. Third is the kind of lubrication where different substances are used for different brands of condoms. Fourth is the spermicidal. Spermicidal lubricant is sometimes used to lessen the probability of pregnancy. One of the more common is called nonoxynol-9. Some individuals are sensitive to this and in fact, if used a lot of times, may heighten HIV-infection possibility. Fifth is the Ribbed. There are many people out there, espe

(Not only vis-à-vis colors although to some people, color is paramount, they are probably the reason why the glow-in-the dark type was born.)

More specifically, what do women want in a condom? Some condoms are packaged to look like tampon containers and a few women are attracted to this. Form also counts - to illustrate, French ticklers (condoms having long appendages) have popular appeal as these (just like the ridges) increase pleasure during intercourse. For this same purpose, some women would insist that their husbands/boyfriends buy the ultra thin type. Of course, not all nationalities are alike. Japanese women in fact, are insistent on using condoms over pills but they are not particular over the kind or form of condom to be used. For as long as she gets assured that it would not break, she probably would not actually care on what specific kind of condom is being used. If you are an American though, a piece of advice: bring your own, the size being manufactured in there might not be to your liking.

Lastly, the most interesting though, according to one expert on the topic (she came out with a hilarious yet enlightening piece) – women generally, do not care about the ridges, ribbing or the lubrication. The problem she claims is that condoms are designed by men. She asserts that if women were to be the ones to do this designing, they would just make “padded” condoms. Length may not really be crucial, but according to her, width does and that is where the padding comes in naturally.

All in all I would say it's a little bad luck to have two break that close to each other, but remember the statistics do not claim 100% effectiveness in preventing pregnancy. I use Ambesol (used for toothaches). Put it on your cock, wash your hands then slip a regular condom on. this way it stays inside of the rubber and wont desensitze the female. Try it out. I have used other toothache meds also for this, but feel Ambesol Gel works best for me.

Best lube for condoms is KY Liquid. You can get it at any supermarket. It will set you back $7 to $10 but it's well worth it.
A technique I discovered is to coat your dick with the KY first. This will give you much more added sensitivity when you have the condom on.
