View Full Version : pc flex: is it normal for sphincter to flex too?
I located my pc muscle and was able to isolate it pretty well; however, my sphincter muscle also contracts when I contract my pc muscle. Is this normal? Or is it possible to isolate the pc muscle completely to the point that the sphincter muscle (or any other) doesn't contract? I'd appreciate any feedback!

I too have this issue. Flexing my PC muscle does help me prolong ejaculation when I am masturbating, even though my sphincter muscle contracts as well, but I have wondered if isolating the PC muscle completely is possible, and if so will it help in prolonging ejaculation even better? If anybody knows please comment.

It is possible to isolate the PC muscle, although it will take a lot of work. One very good method to do so, whenever you have ample time and privacy, is to perform PC flexes with your finger touching your PC muscle. This method is something along the lines of "touch therapy", or something like it, but the concept of it remains the same. Your ability to focus and target a specific area of the body is easier to accomplish when you have the touching sensation in that area you want to focus on. The "link" between your brain and "touched" spot is easier connected, allowing you to be able to either generally tense the surrounding muscles, or locally isolate and tense the specific muscle, depending on how developed at this technique you are!
If you can isolate your PC muscle when flexing by way of the touch, then you can have the ability narrowly focus onto only isolating and developing your PC muscle, and not your surrounding muscles.
It's a tricky business, but is doable!
Let us know how it goes. It should be interesting! :)
