I spend a lot of time driving during the day. Of course, this is a great time to do your PC exercises. However, I get bored with the counting and having to keep up with it.
Today, I tried something new and it worked great! I started my PCs and started counting when one of my favorite songs came on. Here I was at a dilemma...do I stop until the song is over and then continue counting? Nope!
I simply started doing my PCs with the beat of the music. Forget the counting! I would pick out the base line, drums or guitar and sqeeze the PC to the rythem. I would then hold it during a guitar solo, milk it slowly and hold if a note was being held, etc.
Needless to say, I PCd for about 40 minutes and wasn't thinking a bit about it. Let me tell you...once you do it without thinking you might be surprised how creative you get!! At my destination, my PC muscle was burning by the time I got done. I know that I had to have done hundreds of them!! I also found that this helped me to learn to isolate the PC from the sphyncter (sp?) muscle.
Most people drive autos, so I hope this helped some of you...it did me!:D
