View Full Version : Power Jelq Device straight in without prior jelqing experience?

Hi, I am currently using the Size Genetics extender (4 weeks) and have been trying to wade through the masses of information on penis extension on the internet for weeks to educate myself on the subject (why can nothing in life ever be simple?). Using the internet is like putting your head in a rubbish bin trying looking for some useful information. Well I am glad that i have come across this forum because you guys seem to be very informative and helpful.

For the record, I have never done any PE before. Started using the Andro Extender 4 weeks ago and purchased the Jelq device last week.

In perhaps getting a bit over excited about this new adventure in my life, I dived straight in and bought mself a jelq device last week which I have started using lightly (40-50 reps). However, I have read somewhere (can't now remember where) that you should not be progressing to the jelq device until you have done manual jelqs for a few weeks. Is this really a pre-requisite? Or can I not just start using the jelq device lightly at first, at say 50 reps three times a week and increase this gradually by ten reps each week, to minimise the risk of injury?

I appreciate your comments in due course.

There are 2 forums that should be of interest to you. The Sizegenetics.com forum deals exclusively with use of the Andro penis extender.

The User Product Reviews forum contains a lot of threads on many PE related products. The "megathread" that deals with the Powerjelq Device should be interesting reading for you as well ;)

It has always been my recommendation that guys should learn and use manual PE techniques, before purchasing other mechanical devices.

I think what I will do is the full beginners workout from PenisHealth for about 4 months so that my penis is fully conditioned and then advance to the intermediate workout and then instead of manual jelqing, I will do power jelqing with the jelq device instead - but will not overdo it!

I think the one thing I have learnt here more than anything else here is that SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE.

I also am approaching PE not from the point of view of being obsessed with obtaining tremendous gains but rather from the point of view of keeping the old boy healthy and in tip top condition. If I do achieve any gains, well that will be a BONUS! :cool:

I think the worst thing you can do in this game is be a slave to the ruler.
