Does anyone clamp by just using there hand and making a strong grip at the base of the penis. I do this for a 5 min set. Does anyone else? Just a query.

Oh i like the new design of the forum but its a lot slower to load

i am very curious about the same.i think keeping you grip for five minutes would be hard to do.i myself would be willing to try it.also i am not quite sure but does clamping help with length or just girth?

I've heard of manual clamping, but they were doing it for like 30 min. at a time. I think that's the only reason why people use cable clamps, etc., is so that they don't have to hold it for such a long time with their hands. As far as what you're doing, I would think it would be effective. Sort of like the Squeeze.

Clamping is used to increase girth. Most successful clampers will advise that 10 minutes is the absolute maximum that one should clamp for, however, you may do several sets. The reason that guys use clamps is that they provide the consistent pressure required for successful clamping. The chances are that your grip will tire after a couple of minutes and when it does, the other 3 minutes will be a waste of time. It is the same as stretching. I think that 30 second stretches are the maximum, because again, the grip and force will decrease to the point that it becomes ineffective.

I would rather do 5 x 30 second stretches than 5 x 60 second stretches for that very reason, the chances are that you are only going to get half the benefit for twice the effort with the longer stretches.

I'm currently doing manual clamping. I've recently moved up to 3, 10 mins sets.

Dazz made a good point about consistent pressure. Wich is also a reason why I'm going to be looking for a cable clamp in the near future. The manual clamping was only a way to mentally prepare myself to get to the stage where I'm comfortable with cable clamping.

To help against the hand "tiredness" issue, here's what I do:

Everytime I feel that one of my hands is getting tired, I uli up a little, kegel, and squeeze my other hand under the first one. Then I release the grip on the first one.

You get a pretty consistant clamp, and a fresh supply of blood, without loosing too much blood that you already have.

Hi Guys,
I've been using a shoe lace to try to simulate clamping, but find that the knot slips gradually so cannot maintain a constant pressure.

Can anyone from the UK recommend any particular clamping device that they've used and found to be adequate pls ? ( could you also let me know where you've bought it from pls..)

Thanks..

Lose the shoelace, that's a great way to cause some problems. Take a look at www.cableclamp.com This is the best, get the medium size.
