Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if there is any coorelation to a low carb diet and the erection?

I'm eating basically just tuna lately. Total carbs in tuna are 0.

Would this affect bloodflow at all?

Thanks

No, there is no direct correlation between a low-carb diet and the erection. However, there is an indirect correlation between the two, as I'll explain in a moment.

Please understand this first: There are to two ways fat affects the body.
[list=1]
There is the fat from the foods we eat. And...
There is body fat that is stored on the muscle tissue to be used as a source of energy.

The new science in understanding how carbs affect one's diet is this: Assuming you are trying to lose weight by eliminating body fat, the body will first try to burn off carbs as its sorce of energy before it uses the stored body fat that accumulates on your muscle tissue. So you see, by eating a low-carb diet, your body is seeking out the body fat as it's source of energy to be burned when you exert yourselves.

While eating nutritionally is important to the erection, it is the amount of fat that is consumed in the foods we eat that attaches itself to the arteries that would mainly affect blood flow and cause restrictions and/or blockage. This of course, makes it a little more challenging for the body to produce an erection.

On that note,

Are there certain foods and minerals that can aid in better erections?
