View Full Version : How Much Is Too Much?

I'd like to see gains as quickly as possible, and was wondering how often I can do these exercises without overkilling it. I was thinking about going 3 days on, 1 day off for rest, does that sound reasonable?

Jeremy,

That's exactly what those guys suggest. More than this would be too much cause you have to let your best friend recover from the trauma. It's the same with bodybuilding. Even if your penis is not a muscle (wouldn't it be great?).

From what I've read on this forum, a lot of guys prefer intensity to time. It's better to work very hard (not too much tough) than for a long while.

So if you keep it hard and stick to it, you will see gains. I hope so cause that's what I am on too! I just started back monday and I hope to see gains soon.

Good luck man

Wazzup is right,(intensity over duration) I've been doing this for awhile and I spend no more than 15mins. and this seems to work fine, I know that some of the workout plans call for 30 -40mins for the advanced routines but I think you'll find that doing it for that long will only cramp your hands up. 3 days on 1 off is fine, if you find this is too much, drop down to 2 days. Just remember, this isn't a race, so don't lose hope if the gains don't come right away, making it grow is a process and that takes time.
Stay positive and you'll reach your goal, good luck and let us know how things go.

You're right Hardin, 30-40 min is really to long. And it will not only cramp your hands but bore yourself! :(

I wake up, stretch a couple of times, do 30 long and very hard powerjelquings, 5 minutes of the 2 first exercices of ferrari's trio and cool down. That's all and that's enough. For me I say.

Yesterday was my first day off since I started back. I know I should wait but I couldn't hold myself. I measured... and maybe it's a mistake but it seems I've taken like 1/8 inch... 1 3/8 more will be fine!

Have a nice weekend guys!! Cheers :D

You just brought up a good point Wazzup. when you reach that point when you start to get bored with your routine and the gains have seemed to cease, then it's a good indication that you need to try a new routine cause sometimes your little buddy gets used to the abuse your putting it through and needs something new to kinda shock it into growing some more. so...... when you get those gains and suddenly things seem to stop growing, don't give up thinking it's the end of the road, it just means that your buddy needs encouragment with something new. That will usually stimulate it to keep growing.
