I hesitate sending this, for fear that some guys will take it as TRUTH, but I was "chatting" with a guy on another site for hanging...actually, the founder of the site and the hanger which I use, and he was saying that with PE there is no need for a rest day. I do not really believe this, but I will copy/paste a paragraph that he wrote me about it below.

PE, gaining, is not like exercising, building up of tissue. Successful PE is the tearing down of tough collagenous tissue, making it longer, and/or wider.

Even when you continue hanging, the tissues will still heal. They do not need a rest day to heal. If you utilize even as great as a four hour session, once per day, you have a full 20 hours of rest. You can continue doing controlled damage, pulling out previously damaged areas, and making new damaged areas, each day, while your body repairs. In fact, you want it to repair while in the extended state.

I have talked to many guys on that site with big gains. And I told the founder that I hang for an hour in the morning, and an hour in the evening-two sets of 20 minute hangs for each hour, with a 10 minute rest period inbetween hangs. He said that this would suffice. So, in fact, I am not even getting that 20 hours of rest he stated.

Maybe if you want to walk around holding your penis (in agony). But really maybe if the tension was really light enough so that its not sore the next day. But I wouldn't try either one.

Remember hanging is a long term slow type of stretch. It is not as intense as PE, and accordingly rest days are a little less important. I don't really care though, I still believe that the rest days are a help and allow for better growth.

Yes, I agree with the both of you. I have adapted the suggested hanging regimets now, instead of the way I was doing it that got me the gains I did. I seemed to have been stuck on 7 inches,Side BPEL, for awhile without moving any further. And this was doing it only the way(the impatient way) that I was doing it-hanging straight down for about 5 minutes, and then grabbing my head(or shaft) and giving a good LS tug to feel the burn. There got to a point when I didn't feel any burn anymore. But then I read a way of hanging(BTC) that allowed me to feel the burn again, and without tugging. But this was for that long period hang of 20 minutes. I also found that I could not hang with the same amount of weights doing it this way. Probably because I was holding it for longer. I look forward to my next measurment at the end of the month to see if this new regimet has gotten me any further. I will keep you all posted
