Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with a comfort upgrade for the Andro-Penis available at http://x4labs.com/upgrade.htm? I consider buying it, but I would first like to find out whether it is as comfortable as they say ('gently hug your penis and not choke it'), before I spend more money on something that I am still not sure will work.

Greetings from overseas,
Stanno.

I bought this upgrade just to try it out. The problem is there are no instructions supplied on how to use it. It isn't like the loop method which is pretty obvious.

Does anyone out there have any experence with this strap attachment ? and if so how do you fit it properly under a high tension.

Many thanks
JB

Well actually, you can be create your own gauge to comfort your dick. Read some threads thats related to this issue, and.. BE CREATIVE. :dancyboy:

If you cant, that is fine, im sure one of moderators or lativios will answer your question.

Well I have to say I've read various posts regarding this comfort upgrade ( from other forums). These users seem to be able to use it without too much difficulty, but from my experience ( as the makers didn't bother to include any instructions and the manufacturers web site is rubbish) it really is very difficult to use. Especially in comparison to the rubber tube method that is supplied with SG. Also the quality of the supplied materials is inferior to SG - and could quite easily damage the threads on the metal posts of our existing devices.

As long as people read the very useful posts on this forum regarding comfort then I think you can use SG without too much trouble really.

So my advice - don't buy the so called upgrade its a waste of money.

Hi Jukebox,

Thank you for posting your experiences here- it's great to get information about these things :proposetoast:

It's great to get some feedback about these "upgrades" and if they are worth the money. I have to admit- I looked at the site and thought it looked like a good idea- if it's good quality and works well:scratchchin: - it's great to know that someone has really tried this and can give an honest report about the product.:sm34

Sorry to hear that the quality of the strap wasn't good, and that they didn't give you the help and support you needed with it.:o

I suppose it just goes to show that not all companies are as genuine and helpful as Lativio:sm15

Hi Jukebox,

Thanks for the advice. This was all I needed. I won't buy it. There seems to be a higher-quality comfort upgrade (called Penimaster), but it is even much more expensive. I will stick to my silicone tube for the moment. Threw away my first tube after a month, because it became soft and slippery. A new tube works much better.

Thats OK. One tip with the tubes. One guy on this forum suggested twisting the tube before placing it into the grip. Try this, it works really well and makes the tube last alot longer.

I thought I may chime in about my experince with tubes. The twisting idea mention does work and is a good idea. But also I'd thought I would mention that over time your tubes get stretched from being pulled down to lock in the tabs,

I dont know if you ever came across my "fix your tubes" thread, It is now in the hints and tips section. It involves putting wire through the small hole in the center of the tube and securing the wire at the ends. This helps in preventing the tubes from slipping. I still have all 4 of my tubes that came with my SG and they all hold like they did when I got my device back in sept 2006. Thats been 6 months of use. Check it out.

Also if the tubes become slippery you can also use rubbing alcohol to clean the oils that the tubes get on them from your skin and anything else that cause the tubes to get that slippery film on them. I do this once or few times a week and no longer have them get that slippery build up.

Good Luck

Jason

Haha, that guy was me! Twisting works well, but when the silicone tube gets old/used, it gets soft and eventually it starts detaching again...

That was funny.
Anyway thanks for the advice. My current tubes are over 2 months old and still going strong.

JasonWho - read your advice, I just haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Haha thats funny and crazy as I was thinking It was you - Stanno that came up with that idea - but I didn't want to say it before thinking I would be wrong lol.

JukeBox - do let us know what ends up working best for you. Its all trial and error to get this to be comfortable and workable. Its always great to hear others experience when trying out different ideas.

Also I mentioned above that the tube idea of mine prevents slipping, well it has done that for me but what I was more so meaning to say, it prevents the tubes from stretching lol. just thought id clarify that :)

Good Luck :)
