I would say go with the exercises first. I have never used the extender and I have done fairly well with just the exercises. The extender can be a nice change of pace when you hit a wall with the exercises. I think the ideal thing would be to start with a combination of both, but if you have to chose, I would say go with the exercises first. when you hit the wall, then it is time for something different. I know that I am kind of repeating myself, but the point is have a strategy.

I have always maintained , exercises first, get your "easy " gains and then look at getting the extender when you hit a plateau ;)

What are Easy Gains?

Hi there thahitman,
Let me see if I can explain this properly.
When someone starts PE, their penis and pubic region is generally out of shape, meaning that the suspensory ligaments that attatch the penis to the body are quite stiff and can not be stretched very far. Also, parts of the penis are in the same condition. The corpora cavernosa are not used to being expanded and over-engorged with blood, and the tunica has not become used to frequent stretching.
When someone starts to PE the stretching of the suspensory ligaments and the engorging of the corpora happens rather quickly. The ligaments and the corpora essentially become less stiff and remain in a somewhat stretched or expanded state, appearing to have grown. This is almost exactly the same as when someone who is out of shape goes to the gym for a few weeks. Their muscles will retain more intercellular water and more blood, looking slightly larger, and they become more flexible.
It should be noted that this 'enlargement' is essentially making the most of what you've got - it takes the penis you have, and maximises it. Unfortunately, these gains are easy come, easy go. You can get them in just a few weeks or a month, but if you stop PE, they may disappear in a rather short time, as your ligs become stiff again and the corpora become unused to engorgement.
Easy gains should be contrasted with 'real' or 'concrete' gains in that the latter seem to be quite permanent. This is because, due to the body's healing process, the ligaments and the corpora have actually increased their number of cells, becoming larger. This, however, comes from a long duration of PE, and requires alot of patience.
It's the same as many people who start going to the gym. They go and get their 'easy' gains, then when they slow down they get discouraged and quit. Many PE'ers do the same. This is not the way to go if you want to reach your target penis size and keep it PERMANENTLY. You need to put in the hard work and dedication. Hope this helps!
Vets, if I've made a mistake, have at it.
Ciao

Divulse, good effort:)
just to elaborate a little more, yes, it is generally the ligs that will respond and stretch fairly readily to short term, intense stretching, as in manual PE. Therefore, length gains averaging an inch, can be enjoyed in around 4 months (easy gains). With the extender, the same results are possilbe but in around 6 months and I believe that the gains come more from the tunica :)

So when you hit a plateau, exercises are no longer effective, is that what you mean? I hope not, cause I ain't planning on buying the extender.

I think you're right. I'm on it for just over 2 months, and I can see 1/2 inch gain in length and 1cm gain in girth.

No, just that you may find you will need to exercise more , for slower returns. This can be frustrating for most.
The extender helped me break through my plateau and give me some more meaningful gains after a several months of minimal growth. It was an option that stood me in good stead, however, it does not have to be your option ;)

How long does the plateau usually last? And after you get over it, it does mean that you're back to your "easy" gains right?

The plateau generally lasts indefinitely unless you do something radical to try and break it ie: Change your routine up drastically by changing the exercises or taking an extended period of time off to let your dick decondition a little.
No, you will never enjoy a repeat of the first easy gains once you have broken through your plataeu, but the gains should be steadier , although still fairly slow.
