Ok I was of the opinion that most studies done with the average were non bone pressed and they found that that average was 5.5" to 6"? So would that mean those who are 6"BP be below the average? Which way is correct for the true average?

NBPEL is a useful length while BPEL isnt. You can stick your nbpel all the way in girl's. BUt you cant with your bpel. So i would prefer for you to think the average from 5.5 to 6 is based on NBPEL. SO that will make you work harder to get above the average! A good idea to keep your incentive high!

All penis size studies and average size results are Bone Pressed!

They must be done this way to provide a scientific "fixed point of reference", that discounts variables such as fat pad thickness.

Non bone pressed penis is that which is visible. In contradiction to Gotpepsis statement, the inch or so that is hidden behind the fatpad, is actually mainly useable as you can "push past" the fatpad during intercourse, the same way as you can push your hand into the fatpad when you masturbate or even when you jelq to get at the base of the penis ;)

I though that the kinsey study was non bone pressed? I have always heard that you can use some of your bpel. Either way I cant see how I am above the average then, I mean I would have never guessed!

I think this is a very important issue as there is quite a big difference between BPEL and NBPEL. I think Daz has made a very good point for why they would use BPEL but I am not convinced they did. Is there any way we can verify what they used? Especially the Lifestyle condoms one as it was measured for them, is there anyway we can get this information?

I recall reading a number of threads on the forum that indicated most surveys were done Bone Pressed. The instigators of those posts , I assume had done their homework on the matter. You might like to google search on penis size surveys ot similar keywords to see what you can find :)

I agree this is important, you would think they would have too have infomation on "method of testing" in most surveys. I've done a quick search but can't find method of testing other than basic information. In a few surveys they indicate the pubic bone but still don't give enough information. Anyone found more information ? especially on the main tests I guess such as Ansell, Durex and Kinsey. All of them seem to have faults so i guess we may never know.
