Hi Guys,

This is my first post on here after a few days of browsing, I signed up via ph.com and am planning on giving their program a try.

I do have a few questions though, unless I'm missing it the site doesn't really talk about how often you should do these exercises, how many days a week, what time of the day, etc. Or am I not reading far enough yet? Trying to balance studying vs 11hr work days has been tough :)

Me and the wife are still a bit skeptical about this but hoping it works. I'm average(6 x 4.75) but I'm quite tall and at my size average isn't the greatest thing.

I know the site lists some of their testimonials but do all the guys who use the forum have a thread that they list how they've done? It would be nice to hear from others first hand how long they've been doing it, start and finishing length, etc.

I'm hoping to start this Saturday and log it weekly from there.

Thanks!

Frequency is a matter of opinion. I personally think you should work on the exercises 3 days in a row, then take a day off and start over. So essentially you'll be doing 3-on-1-off. Every now and then it can be beneficial to take an extra day off but don't make a habit out of it, consistency and intensity are the two major keys to gains. As with any type of exercise, you don't grow while you are doing the exercises, you grow when you don't. Recuperation always preceeds growth so make sure to help recuperation along by using the hot wrap after each session.

I've been trying to locate my original stats for the last few days (a lot of stuff to look through, I wasn't too organized back then) and if I find them I'll post them so you can all see what I've done with this.

I understand about being tall. I'm 6'4" and even above average can look small on me.

Thanks for the help Ebon, you look like a great resource here on the site and your post about your past gains were great.

Why doesn't anyone else post how they've done over time though?

I like the 3 on 1 off idea and I'm hoping to start this tonight. For those of you who have kids(or do any have kids) when/where do you do your exercises?

I've found it hard enough just to get time to read the site and learn about all the exercises with my step-daughter around. Luckily this weekend she's at her fathers so I'll have time to read up and get the workout routine down. I'll start with the beginners program on p-h.com. Any recommendations on how long to do it for? They list a 10 minute routine as well as longer ones, I would prefer to go for the longer ones.

I doubt that there are many other people on this board who has the same kind of "longevity" as I do. I mean, it's been at least 6 years since I started. (Sometimes I wish I had spent a larger part of that time on PE, as it is now I have only about 8 months total of PE.) Not all people keep detailed logs either. Imagine if you tried to keep one on your computer, your stepdaughter would find that in a heartbeat. This is personal stuff and I know that I don't want to have to explain to anyone why I PE. (I doubt women could actually understand.)

I say do the workout that fits in your daily schedule. If today only leaves you with 10 min to spare then do the 10 min workout. Should you have more time, just pick once that's longer. It's always best to proceed with caution at first though. You need to get "in tune" with your penis before trying longer and more intense workouts.

If you're having trouble finding the time it might work to separate your workout into two: stretch and jelq. Since you can do manual stretches just about anywhere you have a little bit of privacy you can just do those whenever the opportunity arises. Just warm up a little before starting. That way you can concentrate on only jelqing when you feel you have time for working out "properly". Makes it easier to fit it all in a day.

Ebon,

Thanks again for the advice you've offered. I did my first session tonight and it didn't go too badly, I used the beginners routine in the 25-30 minute range. I had trouble doing them in the order they showed as I wasn't always able to keep it flaccid for the exercises that required it. So I just moved the exercises around a bit and finished some of those last.

Is that usually a problem?

Yeah, that can sometimes be a problem. Anytime you start playing around with your dick you're bound to get some reaction. :D It's not that big a deal if you move the exercises around a little.

Good to hear Ebon, thanks :)

Should I do these around the same time of the day? I'll probably aim for nights when people are sleep but that may vary too.

Ok another question. I thought I had read about this but can't seem to find it now.

How you should mix in masterbation/sex with your routines? Not anywhere near each other, wait a certain amount of time?

What about erections, are they typically weaker after starting doing these but recover with time(or even that first day of rest)?

Some people say wait a certain number of hours after a PE session to masturbate/have sex because of the post-sex/masturbation decline in free testosterone. In the long run I don't think it matters. Regular ejaculation keeps the penis and the prostate healthy and I think that matters more.

Your erection will be a little weaker for a few hours after a good PE session, how much weaker depending on the intensity of the session. However, your erection will never be too weak to have sex. If it is there's either some other problem or you've seriously overdone your exercises.

Like I think I said in another thread, you can get a temporary size gain from PE (mostly girth) if doing the right exercises moderately hard about 3-6 hours before having sex. The increase in girth is not very noticeable to you but there is a slight increase in surface volume that might be noticeable to your partner.

Well two days down and all is well so far :)

One other question I had is on the jelq, it seems like while your doing this all of the excess skin gets pulled out towards the head and unless you take both hands off then you can't get it back. The impression I got was that as your not supposed to lose the pressure that you just go with it and the extra skin being pushed down won't hurt anything.

Here's what I do. As soon as my jelqing hand leaves the base I press my thumb down right at the pubic insertion (you'll feel the ligament there) and that help hold the skin back a little. It doesn't "bunch up" like it would otherwise. When my jelqing hand reaches the head I release the thumb and start a new o-grip at the base. Release the top o-grip and bring it down to do the thumb press. Fairly simple but it works.

I had thought of trying that but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to or not. The video on p-h.com shows the skin bunching up so thats what I went with.

Just finished my first 3 day cycle, I don't know if it actually does or not but it does look a bit more veiny while erect.
