What is the average amount of gains?

I would like to know the average gains made by people who have now seen serious gains. The reason for this is that I recently made a trawl of this site trying to figure out the average gains and came up with a figure of less than 1/8" per month in EL.

What occurs to me is that some of these people may have taken breaks during their long time in PEing so this figure may be wrong.

What I am proposing is that some of you out there that have seen significant improvement do some calculations and tell us noobs what to expect on average per month.

Hi mate,
Having read through these forums quite extensively, it appears to me that the "average gains" of 1" length and 0.25" - 0.5" girth, seem to come in around 4 months of committed PE (I fall into that average range). These are the "quick" gains, enjoyed by most guys, after which, the returns diminish, resulting in an eventual "plateau" for most guys. Continuing PE for longer periods will result in more gains, but at a slower and more inconsitent rate.

BTW, you are correct, I am sure that several of the long termers have indeed taken breaks at various times, myself included. :)

OK so what you are basically saying is that "average gains" is a fairly meaningless term because gains come in different rates at different times?

Average gain is basically a misleading concept. Gains are an individual thing. Some people are quick gainers, others are slow gainers. Bottom line, is that if you practice PE with dedication, consistency, and intensity you will gain. How much is a function of your body. All that you can do is the best that you can, and whatever happens, happens.

By the way, the day after starting this thread was a measuring day and I have gained 3/8" in EL this month. Much more than I expected. :drinkupsmiley:

As you can see " average gains" really is difficult to predict ;)
