I use a hot pad (hot and cold therapy gel that I can just put in a microwave) instead of using hot towel...would that be okay?
I just find it a lot more convenient to use this? Any ideas?
Thanks

As a matter of fact one of my standard recommendations is the Bed Buddy Back Wrap, a microwaive gel pad. I think that they work better then the hot wash cloth.

I use a sunbeam heating pad. I set it on high, leave it for a few minutes and come back. The cover protects the skin and keeps the pad hot enough to get a nice warm-up. I just now started PEing again and this is much more convenient than using a hot cloth, and better. I can warm-up without having to get up and reheat a wash cloth, etc.

Be careful not to cook yourself. Even though it initially doesn't feel hot, they can build up heat when coiled up..
