Difference Between Flexing the PC and Closing the Anus

Yea i Know, pretty funny huh?

Anyway, I've read the PH site and it says you could locate the PC muscle by forcing to stop urinating during the middle of it. Well, i've been able to do that since I was 8 or something so I guess I know where the PC muscle is (not that I do it for fun tho).

I've realised whenever I flex the PC muscle, I seem to be closing the anus as well. So my question is, is flexing the PC muscle same as closing the anus with a lot or force?

They are two different sets of muscles. It's hard not to clench your sphincter when doing your kegels, but with time and practice, you'll be able to isolate the PC muscle.
