Hey all. I've got a question for some of the vets.

Is it OK to split a workout? For example - this morning, I did some of the heavier stuff in the shower. Then, finished the rest of it just a few minutes ago. Is it cool to split the workout like this. And, if so, should I go to a 1 day off 1 day on schedule if I do this (as opposed to 3 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off). Honestly, I like the 1 on 1 off schedule better.

I'm going to try to stick to some form of morning workout, but it involves me waking up earlier, so who knows if I hold out...

Appreciate any advice you guys have.

Again you can split your workouts as long as you use the guideline of up to 15 minutes for a minimum workout.
So let's say you get 10 to 12 minutes one workout and 25 min the next, I'd say this would be good.
But a better gauge would be how you feel with fatigue and such. Does it feel like enough or do you feel you need more? This is left to the sole discretion of the exerciser.

I personally believe a minimum of 2 days in a row is essential for any exercise to get it's full benefit.

Thanks for the advice, Anth. You're the man! I think I'll stay on the 3 on 1 off, 2 on, 1 off. I think you're right about the 2 days in a row minimum.

Thanks again!

I've had good results doing my girth work in the mornings and length in the evenings.
