View Full Version : Penis acting strangely

Hey Guys,
Something is up with my penis. It never used to happen before but latley it has. The head of my penis would sink into my foreskin, kind of like a turtle head going back into it's shell. It happens quite often, this makes my penis look incredibly small when I take off my underwear. It sinks in even more when I put my legs together and bend over. This creates a falccid size of 3cm. I know it's not my natural falccid size but alot of the times it will sink in for some reason, and like I said, esp when I bend over.
What could be the cause of this? I read somewhere in this forum that you should do PE when you're around 23years old, since I'm 19 maybe I damaged my penis by working out at an early age?

No you didn't damage your penis. I go through the same thing. Just grab your head and pull and it will look good.
It's a side effect that's no big deal when you consider the length gain you get out of it.

It's good to know that it's normal. But it's just that it's pretty annoying. I could imagine taking off my underwear in front of a girl only to have it shrunk in. It happens quite often, I almost have to re arrange it all the time. I guess it's something I'll have to cope with...
Thanks Anth

Your welcome. Don't stress over it. A quick pull and she'll know you're hung

I know this is an old thread but the problem seems to be getting worse, so here's an update on what's happening.
As you can see I wrote about how when I bend over or when I put my legs together my penis goes smaller, it retracts into the foreskin (I'm circumsized). Now it seems to retract in at ALL times, very rarely does it hang loose. On it's own will it retract into the foreskin becoming 4cm flaccid length. It's actually longer if i pull it out, but there's no point since it will retract in again a few seconds later.
When it retracts in + putting my legs together + bending over, it will retract in even further, sometimes it seems to go inside me! I'm not overweight or anything and this NEVER used to happen. Could jelqing or stretching have damaged something causing it to do this? Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
P.S-It's like this pretty much 24/7, I rarely bother pulling it back out since it will just go back to the way it was.

I have a theory about this but I'm not a doctor so take what I say with a pinch of salt. I believe this may happen because the penis is tired and may be retracting in order to "heal" so to speak. I have never had this problem myself but do you think you might be overdoing it?
I think the only solution is to maybe take a break for a week of two and see what happens. Once your dick is fully relaxed again you might find it returns to normal.

This is actually not an unknown issue. It is not common, on the opposite, it is quite uncommon, but there really is no substantial answer to the "why" - to my knowledge at least. You'd have to consult an experienced urologist.
Technically, the penis can't retract anywhere inside the body, simply because there is no space - unless your penis is extremely extremely small.
Can you specify a little? Can you feel whether the penis contracts, or whether he actually retracts inside of you? And if you think so, where do you feel it goes?
There is a thing called "panic penis", which means that the penis contracts under the influence of adrenaline; stress, sports and so on.
However, I can't imagine you are releasing large amounts of adrenaline 24/7.
If, and that is a BIG if, your penis does retract to the inside, there has to be a problem with either the suspensatory ligaments or the muscles around the penis.
I can't imagine that you tore them.
If I were you, I'd cease all exercises, including PC work, for two weeks, and see how it goes. If the problem persists, just go to a urologist; preferrably a urologist, a regular doctor may not have the knowledge.
He will most likely do an ultrasound; if not, ask him to do one.
And be honest with him, tell him about your exercises, otherwise he may do a misleading diagnosis.

do u take any medications or supplements? ive had similar issues from taking medications.
on the other hand a good supplement might be just what u need to keep the blood flowing in it. not a permanent solution but it might give u some relief.
take there advice and give it a rest for a while though

I gave it a rest a while back and I might be wrong but I don't think it was this bad so maybe rest is what it needs. When I pull my penis out it goes back to what it should be, looking like a normal penis (not a big one hence why I'm doing PE work) but a normal one. This never used to happen. Maybe it doesn't go inside me, but it just looks like it does, and it only does it when I put my legs together and bend over. If I'm just standing it will contract into the foreskin alot though.
So I guess the only thing to do now is take the advice and give it a rest for maybe 2 weeks? And see how it goes...

Sorry for the late reply. Well it actually still happens, it's been a couple of weeks now. Though it doesn't happen as often i guess. For about a week it seemed to stop. It's still happening though. I haven't done PE since. I would love to get back to PE maybe but doing PE is the cause of this?
I don't think I'm overdoing it in PE though. Long story short it's still happening quite often.
I really want to know the cause of this.

You first posted about this problem 5 months ago.Has it gotten worse ? Has it gotten better or no change at all ? Have you experienced pain associated with this problem?
If it hasn't caused you any pain i would think it isn't nothing serious but i'm no expert and i'm no doctor.Make an appointment with a urologist like suggested previously. If nothing else it will ease your mind knowing there's nothing wrong down there.
When i was 23 i noticed my balls were getting bigger and hanging a lot lower.I started thinking all this weird crap too that something may be wrong.I called the doc, dropped my shorts, caughed a few times as he unpleasantly dig his finger into the hernia area.
He said he didn't see or feel anything wrong and i was fine.I'm now 40 and my balls got a little bigger and hang even lower.Nothing's wrong ,i'm just getting older and gravity is doing what it does best.
Moral of my story is go to a doctor and just find out what,if anything,is going on.Were just guys on an internet forum and our advic,no matter how sincere,is no replacement for getting a simple exam by a qualified urologist.

I guess there hasn't been any change over the 5months months, well it definitly isn't getting better, but I also don't think it's getting worse? And there is no pain associated with this. I just hardly think this is normal.
Getting a doc to check it out seems right. Though I'm EXTREMELY self concious about this. I know it's not like the urologist will laugh in front of my face and tease me, but I'm just so self concious about this. I will check out some out if there are any urologists in my area. Also, do you think urologists deal with this kind of stuff all the time? I'd just hate to be the first of something, esp with a penis size like mine ALONG with this problem.

P.s I will be honest about my PE work, though I'll be thinking he might be laughing in his head

I imagine they deal with this kind of stuff on a daily basis, they are doctors specializing in this area.I wouldn't worry too much about your size.i'm sure a urologist has seen every shape and size imaginable.
