Anybody got an idea of what the cells are made of in the corpora cavernosa?.
I would like to know if they are collagen based like ligaments?, if so i think il ad in a few dietary supplements to aid in healing.
Ive been into bodybuilding and fitness for around 15 years and i may have some natural methods to aid/speed in healing,if they are protein based like muscle tissue then that should be quite simple to solve.
Any ideas what they are made of?.

I believe they are blood cells and no ligs there. That's why when we do girth we like to flood the chambers with blood forcing them to expand.
So for girth it's the expansion of the blood cells plus the tunica.

Hi Anth
Ive done some digging on this matter and think ive found out what were dealing with.
The thing is being a bodybuilder you tend to learn all sorts of things about the human body that you would rarely need to know so i think i can cross some of this knowledge of growth/repair of to penis.
Large Veins in our body are made from collagen and are covered in a smooth muscle layer and lined on the interior by endothelial cells, from what ive read the corpora cavernosa is also lined on the outside with smooth muscle and contain endothelial cells on the inside!.
This leads me to believe that they are no different in makup than that of our veins, they are basicaly spongy veins.
So now i know they are very likely to be made of collagen i can begin to use some nifty tricks to try and heal the stretched corpora cavernosa cells faster which is basicly made from a network of collagen which forms a sponge.
Theres natural ways to promote collagen synthesis which should aid in the repair and subsequent growth, and some unnatural ways which increase collagen synthesis in quite a big way.
just taking collagen pills wont work, they are a waste of time...even the collagen creams that you see on the TV by these reputable companies are nothing better than a expensive moisturiser, the collagen molecule is to big to be absorbed through the skin so this is a waste of time.

Sounds like you've got a good handle on it. Feel free to share with everyone here what you've come up with.
I once tried taking collegen pills and it felt like I had sacks of water on my knees.

I will share all my info Anth, i know theres guys out there that haven't gained and it really could be down to something as simple as they are unable to generate enough collagen.
Also this goes for guys who pick up injuries like sore veins, if you stretch and tug a vein it also has to be repaired by collagen as this is its basic makeup, so improving collagen synthesis will make you heal quicker and in effect gain quicker.
I will make up a post with a few tips in aiding recovery, il try and keep it simple so everybody can benefit.
Just remember that the older you get the less collagen you produce so injuries will be more likely and gains will more than likely be slower, so any improvement in collagen synthesis will be a very good addition to any ones program.
Il write a post out Anth and we cann all benefit from it.

You see im looking at this like a bodybuilder but im not building muscle here im building collagen, if we train muscles tiny fibres tear within the muscle... then our body repairs the muscle fibres and overcompensates by repairing the fibres bigger than they were before, they do this to prevent further tears, so as a bodybuilder you would increase your weights to tear the bigger stronger fibres and the process is repeated.
Now if the exercises are all correct and we are resting enough then the only ingredient we need is nutrition, you can do all the above and you wont grow at all unless your putting the correct food in to build new muscles.
so for penis enlargement we do the same, we need to stretch the collagen based corpora cavernosa and cause microscopic tears in the fibres, once these tears have been established the body needs to take over and repair the torn fibres, now if were not getting the right substances to provide enough collagen synthesis then we will hinder our gains.
once repaired we need to stimulate new growth just like a bodybuilder would, so we introduce different exercises and intensity same principle as bodybuilding.
so bodybuilding and penis enlargement are comparable .
