Just wondering if you would benefit by having some protein an hour before doing a pc muscle routine? I notice a massive difference by having protein an hour before the gym, so would the same apply to working the pc? Especially say in the morning before you've eaten any protein whatsoever and your training a muscle with no 'fuel' to help it?

being a bodybuilder i can tell you that having protein before hand wont really help with fueling your PC muscle, to help with fuelling you want to ingest simple carbohydrates that get it to the system quick!, something like dextrose would do the job.

Take protein afterwards if you wish to speed the healing up from micro tears in the pc muscle tissue.

Another nifty trick to help with the strength of your PC muscle is the use of creatine monohydrate, i use this amino acid amongst others for muscle size and strength, so it makes sense that if it helps with strength and endurance in the large muscles then it should do the same in the PC muscle.

Also it may ad a small amount of size to the smooth muscle tissue within the penis as creatine is a cell volumiser within muscle tissue, dont know if the effects would be that great in the penis itself but after all there is some muscle tissue in there and it may help.

You should train the PB/BC muscles much more gently than you would if you were training your chest or quads. The PB/BC muscles are not ones that you want excessively sore.

Thanks for the answers guys, I definitely feel more able to do the pc killer on my commute if I've had some breakfast but thats probably just to do with not having any energy whatsoever if I don't eat something. (PC killer does require some effort anyway lol) Might try the creatine as I'm going to the gym at the moment so kill two birds with one stone.

Just remember that you're not trying to "enlarge" your PC/BC muscles- the goals should be stronger contractions, stamina, and control. Think of it as training for a sport as opposed to just training for appearances.
