I have just joined penishealth.com and I'm reading the exercise routines but it doesn't say how often to do them. I know I need "rest time" but how much? I've seen on other websites that it should start out 1 day on, 1 day off, then progress to 2 on, 1 off, then 5 on, 1 off. But I want to hear what experienced people have to say. Like I said, maybe I just missed it on the site so sorry if I sound stupid...

Don't worry about it, what would be stupid is if you didn't ask a question about something that you are unsure of. I always recommend doing a 3 on 1 off combined with a 2 on 1 off as your weekly schedule. A 2 on 1 off would be OK for the first month of your PE experience, but then it would be a little light. What I like about what I recommend is that you can develop a steady routine that stays the same every week. For example take every Monday and Friday off, and then your three is Tues - Thurs, and your two is Sat - Sun. Obviously, you can do any mix that works for you, the point is that you can set up a consistent pattern.
