Well, that girth is not mid-shaft. I'm 7.8" BPEL on most days (although I confess to not having measured in quite a while) and 6.2" EG (midshaft) and 6.5-6.6" EG right at the base. My girlfriend has no problem with things. In fact, she seems to enjoy herself... ;)
