should you use lubrication if so what kind would you suggest

Hi tyrice

It depends on the exercise you do, for stretching you don’t use any lube. You will loose your grip and you definitely need it.
For the Jelq exercises you have to use a good lubrication otherwise you get a very sore skin.
I use baby-oil, it’s easy to clean, not irritating and it’s even good for the skin.

Like Yves suggested, baby oil is a good bet. What works even better, though, (at least for me,although most guys on this forum probably wouldn't recommend it), is a mixture of both baby oil AND some bodylotion. Bodylotion by itself isn't any good but with baby oil it's superior.

Baby Gel with Vitimam E and Aloe was the ticket for me. No mess, a little goes a long way.
