Iam currently in a beginner routine and been doing it 3.5 weeks-few probs to start with but generally ok now.

I do 4*30 second stretches-left right up down. When i do up or down stretch it sometimes feels uncomfortable and sometimes hurts-like that feeling you get when u suddenly stop yourself urinating, but a bit more intense. However i never get this feeling in left / right directions.

Is it ok to do only left right stretches instead of up down? or just go easier on the up down ones?

When i do left right stretches i get no pain at all but there is a strange sensation of inner movement in the shaft-like small detachments going on-does this mean iam doing it right?

cheers

Some people notice the feeling you describe when stretching. As long as it does not present pain, you are doing it right. However if in a given direction it does produce pain, you may need to lessen the strength used and gradually work into more strength used.

Mowinman-I just did my LOT and its about 8. This may explain the pain i get when doing downward stretches?

Do you think i should leave out downard stretches and do more upward stretches instead-?

I also jelq in downward direction also-should i change this to upwards also? What do you think?

No, do the downward stretches and if you can, jelw downward too. A lot of men experience the "quick gain" that is talked about. The pain may be just from stressing the ligament.

But it says in LOT theory that low LOT number=you have to stretch upward/jelq also-am i reading it wrong?

No, your LOT is still high yet. It's not until it is at or below 7 that you have exhaused the ligament gain.
