I've been told that after the breakdown of fibers within muscles in the body, that applying warm water is actually detrimental to the rebuilding process. I understand the warm-up at the beginning, but warm up cloth at end??? Thanks to whoever can respond.

Well I've heard the same thing , but then again , the penis is not a muscle . So I don't think it applies . Forgive me for the lack of actual terms but the penis consists of something that gets loaded with blood , this is not a muscle . So warm water would help make blood flow . Wich should help something that mainly relies on blood flow shouldn't it ? :p

I've simply noticed that if i omit the warm up after the routine, I continue to be tender for a longer period of time. I'm not sure that it even helps cement the gains of the session by keeping the blood flowing more and quicker after the session.

Just a thought.

Ive heard that you should apply cold water afterwards... anyone else heard this through your travels??

I've tried both hot and cold. Only time I used cold was to reduce swelling when I over did my workout. Worked great and didn't have any detrimental effects on post workouts. In fact the cold was very soothing to my aching cock!
A lot of health-focused individuals like to take a shower first with as hot as they can stand for a minute, then cold for 1 minute for 3 times each. Helps with skin tone and metabolism. Don't know how that would help the dick though. Just made my nuts suck up into my body :confused:
I apply a rice sock before my workouts and during stretching I will try to keep the heat applied all during the workout in order to keep my dick soft and in a pliable state.

I use a hand shower to warm up and warm down, so I've experimented with alternating between extreme cold and very warm water. You get a pleasant, tingling sensation in your dick after doing that, and it seems to balloon up and stay ballooned on it's own for quite some time.

Nowadays I always do a hot/cold shower massage for warming down (only hot water for warming up, though).
