how long should you stick to a routine before you change it or try something different?

i am not a veteran at pe but know quite a bit about the human body. the human body when subjected to stress, in this case the sessions/workout, will at first go through a period of breaking down then repairing. after a while the body adapts to the stress and becomes accustomed to it. this is when you plateau or level off. this is the point where a new added stress will continue the breakdown and repair process. if it sounds complex it's not. i have been around bodybuilding for a long time and that's their motto usually. so a good rule of thumb to use is change it up every 6 weeks. but keep in mind i know more about the human body in general. check with people like ferrari and others who have been around pe the longest. hope it helps friend.

thanks alot man it gives me a better reflection on how I can get the best gains. But just to get things straight what your saying is that after your body gets used to that workout it will adapt and will not grow anymore, or it will grow slower? and do you have to add a new workout to your routine or can you just switch what you do around alittle bit?

I would suggest sticking to a routine for at least 2 monts, PE is all about u though, if after 2 months you are making excellent gains then stick with the program until your gains diminish, the sneek preview of the update contains info on what to do when u reach a plateau

hey darren but what do I do if its been a month and ive made no gains, does this mean Im doing it wrong or that maybe this routine is not for me? then should i try after a couple of weeks if no length gains are made cause thats what im really after. Ive seen gains in thickness and i know I can get more easily but Ive been working hard for about 3 months and have made no gains to length whats so ever.

if a month and no gaisn at all i would suggest changing the workout, maybe you are not doing the exercises right, check out the videos in the "sneek preview" they show a better understanding of the exercises. Make sure whhen you are doing the jelq you can actually feel your penis FULL with blood when you come to the end of the stroke, there may be a little bit of discomfort. With your other hand you can try following up the base behind your first hand (about 1-2 inches behind) , this will put even more pressure on the penis.
