View Full Version : A question about the safety of penis exercises, and how they work

I'm interested in the exercises at Penis-Health.com, but I have a question regarding safety and the anatomy of the penis that I would like answered before I consider making a purchase:

There is a ridge-like structure along the top of my penis that stretches from the base of my penis to the bottom of the head. This ridge is only noticeable during an erection, but the ridge is somewhat hard, and doesn't really feel like it could stretch much. How will exercises enlarge my penis without damaging this ridge?

Also, I'm curious about how the exercises work. How do the exercises increase penis size?

That "ridge-like" structure is probably a vein/capillary. Nothing else really comes down the shaft like that. You won't do any damage to that unless you apply too much pressure over too much time.

The exercises work by stretching and expanding the corpus cavernosae and their "containment field" known as the tunica. The tunica consists of two balloon-like layers of tendonous material that limits the exansion of the corpus cavernosae and creates the shape of your penis. By expanding the corpus cavernosae by forcing them to hold more blood you stretch the tunica from the inside (so to speak) and in time achieve a larger penis.

You also work on erect lenght by stretching the suspensory ligaments which attach the penis to the pubic bone. By lengthening these ligaments you'll allow more of the penis to protrude thus making the useable part of it longer. (As you can feel when having an erection, the erectile tissue of the penis stretches all the way back to the anus.)

Essentially, this is just like increasing the range of motion of any joint by carefully applied stretching (same type of tissue are involved). It takes times and needs to be done carefully and consistently, but it works.

Does stretching the ligaments that you mentioned weaken them at all?

Think about how supple and stretched a gymnast needs to be. Would you ever look at a gymnast and think that they have weakened their body. As Ebon says the tissues are similar to the ligaments that you stretch before a workout, and proper stretching before a workout helps prevent injury. You are not weakening yourself by stretching ligaments. The same logic applies to the suspensory ligaments. Remember, as Ebon says, it takes time. If you ever studied the martial arts and one of your stretching workouts was doing splits, try to remember that moment. I never was able to do a full split, but after 6 months of karate my splits started to resemble the concept. It was difficult and it took time, but I never felt weaker because of all the stretching. I can say the same thing about PE. If your afraid of injury remember slow and steady. The biggest cause of injury is the typical, I want a big dick and I want it now, mentality. Remember, in any physical workout injuries are possible if you do things wrong. Penis Health will provide you with the guidance to do things correctly.

That makes sense to me.

I appreciate the information, ebon00 and turtle.
