View Full Version : Resting a day between workouts

I had a question for anyone in the know about this- It seems to me that you should rest for a day between pe workouts.

i've seen posts compare pe to bodybuilding. I know the penis isnt a musle, but I dont know any serious bodybuilder who works any musclegroup 6 days in a row. everyone rests a day after seriously working a muscle group so it can heal- working say the pecs 3-4 days per week.

so it seems the most reasonable thing is to work the sh!t out of your dick for a day, then rest a day, then hit it again next day. this would maximize the workout and the healing. Even long term, alternating days seems to be the most reasonable thing.

the only thing is if you dont want the penis to heal. maybe expanding the chambers is like doing permanent damage and your body is trying to restore the chambers to the size they were originally. i dont know if this is the right picture either. if it is then you dont want to give your penis a chance to heal, so you have to hit the pe like as often as possible, even twice a day.

Anyone out there have info or advice on this?

ya m8 rest is essential if u dont rest u wont gain (at all)
i do 3 days on 1 day off i allso do the exersizes at the same time each day so that my penis is used ta the schedule
i work out in the mornin like 10 am and leave my penis alone all day and night then do the same for a further 2 days . on the fourth day i rest completly just doin a few mins warm up and a kinda massage rotine just ta help releive sourness and make my penis less stressfull..
id say 3 days on 1 day off is the way ta go but many peeps try 2 on 1 off or 2on 2off etc just try playing around with it (no pun intended) but 1 thing i would suggest is no masterbation or sex straight after ur pe routine because it puts ur penis asleep and u need ur penis ta rebuild after ur pe sessions and i think puttin it in a sleep relax mood would slow gains a little ..

Actually it doesn't look like the issues been settled yet! Theres an experiment on thunders where theyre getting newbies to try 2 methods: one is hitting it hard and resting a day, the other is these little wimpy sessions, but like 5 times a day. The goal is to see which group gets bigger gains.

Very much worth checking out once they get some results.

I have a couple more thoughts on this: I think that youll stretch the ligaments better if you do it constantly. Look how some African tribes stretch out their ears- slow constant pressure. I dont think you want to go in and start tearing away at your ear with like a hard workout, and then rest a day. I'm kinda cracking myself up here, but maybe its the same with the ligs- more frequent low intensity workouts will be much more effective in lengthening the penis than less frequent high-intensity workouts.

Anybody have thoughts on this??

I know what your talking about skin, I did the one day on one day off routine for about a month. My dick felt fine and I justified it because I worked it out really hard and then gave it 48 hours to heal. I figured that this was the best way to go about this. However, I have found better results with going for less time consuming workouts (1 and a half hours at a time for my 1/1 routine) and going for 2 or 3 forty minute workouts depending on how my dick feels that day. I find its more instinctive then anything, just like any other kind of workout. I do think that stretching the ligs about 10-15 minutes at least 6 days a week is a must though because you are not breaking down any tissue to be rebuilt, you are just stretching ligs, and more constant stretching results in a greater gain. This is what I figger, but what the @#%$ do I know.
