well, i am a personal trainer and am studying Nutrtion Science at a university. As a body builder nutrution is an essential part of gains. In the first month or two that a person starts lifting weights, they have natural gains no matter what they do or what they eat. IT doesn't matter if you do things the worst that they can be done, you will still gain muscle and look better. now after that 1-2 month period there is no way that you will gain muscle or strength without a proper diet. with a proper diet and eating an excess of calories you will gain weight.
Now i am wondering if this has a lot to do with PE as well? in teh first month or two you see everyone has gains about, but after that you see these gains come to a slow crawl or even a halt. now i know this is natural and gains can't be like they are at the beginning...it is the same way in weight lifting. but with a proper diet in weight lifting your gains come at a slow rate but much much faster than if you weren't eating correctly. I think with a proper diet that your PE gains will come quicker as well. I know that i haven't been PEing for very long but i am just getting into my 3rd month now or about to start it and my gains have been at a consistent rate, i have been able to almost guess my gains. Supra had great gains later on and he followed a healthy diet.
I am just wondering if anyone else follows a good diet and has had improved gains. if this be true, it could help a lot of people out i think.
