I am posting this on behalf of a friend of mine who is 17 (there is no chance his parents would ever send the concent form, ever). For the record the pills he purchased were Pro Solution pills, his parents opened his mail, found them, and basically had a fit about it. In the end it came down to how they were sure that it was going to screw him up really badly because they said he wasn't done "growing."
Now, according to him, he is done growing. He said he started puberty a bit earlier than most guys (Around 12-13) and his penis hasn't really grown since he was about 16. I've read you can keep growing till even after age 18, but most people stop around 16, and it seems like this is the case with him too. And even if he isn't done growing, is there really any risk? The pills are all-natural, so it's not like a drug. Is it terrible to take them at that young of an age? He's already very sexually active (which his parents hate). I guess my basic question is if his parents are justified in their rage at all of this, or if there is no harm in taking the pills at his age.

I am posting this on behalf of a friend of mine who is 17 (there is no chance his parents would ever send the concent form, ever). For the record the pills he purchased were Pro Solution pills, his parents opened his mail, found them, and basically had a fit about it. In the end it came down to how they were sure that it was going to screw him up really badly because they said he wasn't done "growing." His parents are very concerned for his well-being...as well as responsible for his decisions as long as he is under the legal age of the law and lives under there roof...as it should be. Now, according to him, he is done growing. What leads him to believe that he is done growing? He said he started puberty a bit earlier than most guys (Around 12-13) and his penis hasn't really grown since he was about 16.12-13 years of age is not early for puberty to begin...but rather, it is an average age. As for noting that his penis hasn't grown since he was 16...I would like to know how he calculated this fact. Did he measure himself on a daily, monthly, or yearly bases since puberty began or is it something that he is speculating based on looks. I've read you can keep growing till even after age 18, but most people stop around 16, and it seems like this is the case with him too. While individuality for growth may vary from person to person, and unless he has a hormonal disorder that has been noted by his physician, he will have spirts of growth at different ages throughout the rest of his life. And even if he isn't done growing, is there really any risk? The pills are all-natural, so it's not like a drug.We are all at risk for the things we ingest through our bodies, regardless of how natural it may be. We also take it for granted that the natural foods we eat every day of our lives only effect us for the better. When this is far from the truth. Food...in-and-of-itself...is a drug, whether or not it is of legal substance. All foods effect our character of thought and our physical being and should be treated as though we were taking a drug...when we choose to ingest it into our bodies. Is it terrible to take them at that young of an age?It can be...and should be taken with respect to its consequences. He's already very sexually active (which his parents hate). I guess my basic question is if his parents are justified in their rage at all of this, or if there is no harm in taking the pills at his age. I would ask you...What do you think? However, it is not your place to make this decision for your friend or his parents. Further more, he has obtained these pills illegally as it is. When you have matured to the point of deciding to have children in your life...you will learn the respect of what it means to be a parent who is responsible for the outcome of your child. Then you can truly appreciate my words of wisdom.
If you find any wisdom in my words at all, then you have come to understand what it means to be mature.
Respectfully,
Edward

He said he started measuring when he was about 15 years old, and that he hasn't grown since then (has continued to measure about every three months).
I'm not so much trying to pry into his life or anything of that nature, and I'm not personally interested in telling him what I think is best, since I haven't done research on this... I write what he asked me to write and nothing more because I think it's important he has all the facts.
It can be...and should be taken with respect to its consequences. I'd really like to know more about this, what kind of things can happen? According to the site (which I did go look at), I believe it said it was alright at any age, what sort of consequences are possible? I'll go look it up further, but I'd like to know more about that.

I respect the fact that you are assisting your friend towards helping him research as much as you can...as long as you are doing it in the best interest of all concerned and not just for him, as he is still not done growing and lives at home with his parents. It would be best...that he does his research on the ingredients and understand there effects as well as researching drug interactions. However, in spite of the fact that he is taking the responsibility for researching, he should repect the concerns of his parents as I have stated before.
Good luck to you and your friend.

I appreciate the replies very much! Of course his best interest is at the center of all of it. We'll do further research on the ingredients and such and then make a decision based on all of that.
His parents were much less angry today, as reported by him. He isn't going to do anything without their concent, so we're going to give this a big more research and make an accessment based on the risks and such.
I thank you again for the advice, it's nice to go to a forum where you actually get intelligent answers and not just flames and garbage.

Edward has given you some great replies to your concerns. As a parent, I have a 16 year old son, I wonder if, when, how I will tell him about PE. My inclination is to wait until he turns 21, because I will be absolutely sure that all growth has stopped, and I will be more comfortable discussing all of this with my son. Probably, all growth stops by 18, but I tend to be conservative on these types of things so Ill probably wait a little longer to discuss this with my son. I didn't start PE until I was 54 years old, so I figure that 21 will be a relatively young age to start. Tell your friend to calm down. Let his body do its natural thing and then he can get into PE. He has a long life to use and enjoy a bigger size regardless of starting at 18 or 21. Again, like I have cautioned so many people don't do anything silly that results in injury.
