Does it really make a difference? On average BP and NBP have a difference of .5" So if someone if 6" BPEL, he's most likely 5.5" NBPEL. So if you want to take both accounts in, the average size is 5.5"-6" NBPEL and 6" - 6.5" BPEL.

Yea, I understand. I'm always wondering how I measure up to the rest of everyone else.

Guys
It doesn't matter what everyone else is, all you can be is the best that you can be ( to borrow a phrase from the US Marine Corp). It sounds corny but it is absolutely true. When your with a woman just be the best that you can, if she doesn't like it then the hell with her. If your always trying to compare yourself with unknowns you are going to make yourself nuts. PE will help you be as good as you can be. If that's less than, equal to, greater than the average it doesn't mean squat. The bottom line is to accept yourself and be confident.

The standard that is used by the whole PE community, medical professionals and surveys by Durex, Kinsey and the rest is bone pressed from the top of the penis. The medical professionals sometimes replace it with a BPFS (bone pressed flaccid stretch) from the top. Some guys in PE who measured from the side when they first started PE keep measuring from the side of the penis for consistancy. All of it is not as important as measuring consistantly the same way to track yourself. I measure from the side when I want to give myself that extra 1/4" or so just to horse around.

wow that's strange. On the mens forum where I joined up they teach us to measure from the side.
Sure you can get a slightly larger number when measuring from the side. But, when trying to obtain that number, I've always just gotten confused, since you really can't figure out WHERE to start from, much less do it consistently. Measuring from the side is just a great way to cheat, IMO. It's worthless.
If you want the biggest stat possible, get an erection, pull your dick 90 degrees to the left, and put the base of the ruler way down, deep between your crotch and (right) leg - down as close to the ball & socket joint as possible. Then measure to the tip of the head. Congratulations, you've got a 12-incher.
