Red spot on shaft of penis

I am a beginner and have only been utilizing PE techniques for about 1.5 weeks now. After a milking jelqing technique I noticed a red bloodish looking spot on the shaft of my penis, not on the head. Have I burst a vessel here, or is this just the red spots I keep hearing about that go away? It has been 2 days and it seems to be fading, but not much. Also, if I did burst a vessel is this repairable? I guess I'm worried I did some permanent damage and I'm going to have this red spot on my penis forever. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Red spots are reasonably normal and they are an indication that you are doing the jelqs with a good level of intensity. As long as they are red spots, and not a large area of discoloration, I wouldn't worry about them.
