Is there anyone who only does manual stretching and doesn't use any devices? Would using the devices be better for results or is manual stretching just as good or possibly better?

Don't ever underestimate manual stretching. The only reason I ever talked about (and eventually got) a pump, was because I theorized my hands just weren't strong enough to grip the head enough, when semi-erect, to get any kind of reasonable length-work done.
But pumping is a very small part of my overall PE effort.
What I've learned to do, is "catch" my dick off guard, when it's totally flaccid, and do stretches (my own personal modified version of the 'long schlong', if you will), and do them until blood starts to inevtiably flow into the area, at which point, you have to stop - just takes a minute, maybe.
I probably get my best length work (manual stretching) done, right after I've gotten out of a warm shower. I'm so clean (all the oils are removed from the skin), that it's easy for me to a get a REALLY firm grip on the head -without my hand slipping during the tugging- that I can really a get a great length stretch. I do this all the time. Various times throughout the day, catch it "off guard", and stretch/tug for just a minute until the blood starts flowing in... which just interferes w/ length work, IMO.
Length work CAN be done, for an advanced PE-er, when fully erect. But, you ain't gonna get that done with your hands. Thus, my theory... air pressure... and there's a place for purpose for that in the overall grand scheme of things.
Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that the "traditional PE workout", is something you have to evolve away from. At least when you get advanced. You have to start separating length & girth routines. Length = stretching (when flaccid). Girth work = intense engorgement. Only way to do both at the same time, and have a really gigantic dick = with a pump.

dman you have very good results, did it take all 5 years or were you doing PE on and off over the 5 years and if so how many months total would you say you actually did PE?
I've been pretty dedicated, overall. I've had some dry spells, where I would only do a 'maintenance' PE workout, like once a week - every now and then, but for the most part, I've never really stopped, and at least 80% of the time since I started, I've been striving for gains. Since like fall of '04, I haven't missed a beat. Seems like the more you grow, the more you want to grow more, because you start to realize the potential is actually there.

Ya... you have to be dedicated to get the results.. or so I've read over and over and over on here.
To get a good grip on the stretches, try using a soft cloth to line your grip. I've found better grip, with less pain (can stretch harder).
^ yeah, rubber gloves, baby powder, etc., I've tried various methods. Nothing stretches as effectively as a pneumatic vacuum device (aka pump).
edit: and I am developing a new theory, which a pump could be effectively used to make length-gaining stretches, when flaccid. That means getting a cylinder that is no larger (maybe even a tad smaller) than your 100% flaccid girth - since once your start the stretch, the flaccid penis 'narrows' just a bit when stretching. Still developing this theory, though...
