Tutorial - Shaving or Waxing Balls

A buddy of mine noticed a guy in the shower with shaved balls and asked if it was a gay thing. I did not know so. What do you guys think?

I shave my balls as well as the shaft and base of my penis. I like the feeling of a female hand on my bald balls. Unfortunately, my shaft has some hair on it that can be uncomfortable to women. I guess most guys don't. :( I actually use a depilatory, but the damn pubic hair grows back a day later, just like facial hair, so nothing I've done has been very effective. I'm seriously interested in PERMANENT hair removal in my pubic area if anyone knows of anything that works. I tried Ultra Hair Away and it didn't do anything.

I’d like to start by saying, that shaved balls is not a gay thing. In fact It is much more appealing and seductive to a woman than you know. She appreciates it when a man is shaved, especially if she indulges you with oral sex. There is nothing more disturbing to her than to get pubic hair down her throat.

Another appealing advantage is, the presence of making your family jewel (penis) look much bigger. If you have ever looked at most hardcore porn showing the male models, you will probably notice that these models are all shaved just for the occasions described above.

Another benefit to those that do shave their balls, is the pain free feeling of not having to pull on your hairs when performing the PE program exercises.

One more final note: As for what method you use to shave with…be cautious about it because, as you know, you are dealing with a very sensitive part of your body that you do not want to damage.

Sorry to hear about the discomfort your wife has experienced with stubbled hairs on the shaft.

I've never known to hear of such complaints about this, but I reckon it happens.

If you ever decide to do it again, maybe a lubricating gel might soften things up a bit. I'm not quite sure, because I never had that problem with my wife.

RedBear, my ex-gf complained about the same thing with my "porcupine quills". My only options were to either keep it shaven every night before sex or to just not penetrate all the way. Thankfully her favorite position didn't require me to go in too far.

I have been shaving my balls and shaft for about a year and a half. Being of Italian heritage, I do have plenty of hair everywhere with especially thick hair in the pubic area. I've found that using a good shaving cream w/moisturizers is vital for getting a close shave which has helped me avoid the uncomfortable daily stubble. I have had success w/ a brand called 'Kiss My Face' found in larger grocery stores and health food/vitamin shops. You may want to try some different brands. I can get away with shaving every other day, sometimes longer before the stubble reappears. The other thing I've noticed, is that the return growth has seemed to be slowing down, though this is an opposite result from shaving which usually thickens hair and speeds up return growth....?!

My wife has commented on more than one occassion how she likes the soft feel of my shaven balls, which is a turn on for her. And if it turns her on, it turns me on!

And as for me, shaving does give my package a better look at the beach, as we frequent clothing optional beaches for our vacations. That's another reason I am eagerly anticipating the results from my workout. Our next scheduled vacation is July! Vanity, ain't it great!

Just to throw my two cents into the sea...I too shave my balls, and also I just trim the hair above my bud. The old lady doesn't like getting stabbed by the bristles either. As a matter of fact, when we first started going out, she wasn't shaved at all. It was all bush country. Talk about getting lost in the forest! So I told her to hack it off, which, since then she has done. But getting back to the balls, I think that she likes it too, when shaved, but I don't know because she never really said anything about that.

I just normally use shaving cream and a razor, and I've cut myself a few times and is not good. But a few here have used hair removal creams so maybe I should try that out and see how it goes instead

If you have shaved your face recently, and have managed to do so without creating much of any accidental mishaps. Then, with all good intent, you need just apply equal care when you attempt to shave your genitalia.

While this may appear nerve-racking upon your first attempt, It becomes easier the more you do it. Just remember to never take anything for granted, and you will avoid any unpleasantness that can arise if you get too conifident.

1. Begin by trimming the long hairs down with a scissors. This will keep your razor from sliding over the majority of hair and fouling your razor.

2. I would suggest using a twin or triple edge razor. NEVER use a single edge razor unless you are good at using it.

3. And use a moisturizing shaving cream gel for sensitive skin. NEVER use an oil, such as baby oil. This will only gum up the razor and cause the hairs to lay down.

Shaving cock & balls is as old as the hills. To you guys who complain about cock shaft hair, you are most likely cut (circumcised) since uncircumcised guys hairline is at the abdomen; base of dick shaft. As others have said, it makes you look bigger and also it does feel good. Keep it up often and then it goes much quicker than waiting to get hairy. Also, I use Coochy shaving lotion for genital areas, available in most adult product sites, bookstores, or sex shops. Great stuff! And a good razor, a three bladed safety razor like Mach III and NEVER use that razor on your face as that can dull it much quicker and cause cuts, etc on your cock & balls & assholes. I have worked at a place that makes hair removal lasers. it's pretty safe and permanent. If you did a search yout might find somone who does this. Although I am not certain.

I am a fairly hairess person so this is usually not an issue for me. I often have less hair on my arms than many women even.

I usually shave some at the base but only so I am not pulling the hair at the base as I Jelq. It does look better too I must admit. Shaving balls sounds like something I wouldn't bother with. Mostly because I don't have a lot to concern me but also because it looks pretty tricky to me. I suppose you would have to pull the skin taught to get a smooth surface.

I am so hairy that I could never even hope to shave my package. I have tried to use hair removal cream, but most of that says to avoid use around your sensitive areas. I also don't get blown much so shaving for her comfort doesn't do much when there is no 'her' to worry about.

I haven't considered shaving mine before but I used to keep it trimmed with scissors but this past week after I signed up on p-h.com and decided to get some pre-pictures we decided to take out the trimmer and trim it down quite close. Now, before everyone says I'm nuts... it's really not as bad as it sounds at first, just listen.

I was looking for something permanent. I shaved ONCE. It was way too hard and way too itchy growing out for me to ever do it again. I had just been trimming it, and then one day decided to try plucking. I had tweezed between my eyebrows, and most of it didn't grow back. I had heard that if you pluck a hair enough times, it will stop growing back, and it was certainly true for my eyebrows, so I thought "why not."

So I started where my shaft meets my balls, where I had hairs I thought would be uncomfortable for anyone giving me oral. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would and went pretty quick. So I started moving out, and in no time I had my shaft and entire balls totally (and I mean TOTALLY) hairless. It took me a couple days to do, spending maybe an hour a day, but now I just spend a few minutes a day "maintenance". Each day there are a few hairs back, but not that many. They're finer, getting fewer, and each time they hurt less to pull out.

I'm single right now, so I don't have anyone to appreciate it, but I'm gonna keep it up. I've been at it about 3 months, and I'm gonna keep going until I don't have to do it at all anymore.

This past week I decided to shave mine. I had trimmed it a few weeks prior and it looked good so I then decided to go all the way and shave them.

I had trouble getting all the short hairs off but most of them weren't a big deal and it was very soft after the fact.

Now how much do people shave? Just the balls and base of the shaft or all the way around and the hair on top?

I'm just curious what others have done. A few stubbly hairs are a bit itchy and painfull but I think I'll keep it up, I like the look and feel of it.

I shaved once with a Bic... Well it does feel great, but I don't think it looks that good... To much childish for me. And girls around me don't like it all shaved. They prefer trimed. So I shave with an electric clipper. Makes it really short but not bald. And dude that feels soft and cool!! A bit strange when you go pee for the first time tough! ;)

Shaving down under is not that painful if you are just careful about it and don't rush. Also, I find that it's easier to shave my balls after I've run them under cold water (talk about a rush!) - it seems to tighten the sack and make the hairs stand on end, so it's more like shaving your face than your ball sack.

About the women complaining of stubble, I take a shower everyday and just make it part of my shower routine to shave them, even if they don't need to be shaved. I got some mad hair genes, so I have to deal with it growing back soon, so it's the only way to really deal with it. My GF likes it, and it does make me feel more endowed...

The very, very first time, yes - I did have some irritated skin. So I laid off on it and didn't try to pursue it. But then I got the whim to try it again some months later, after it had all grown back, and I had no problems at all. In hindsight, I think I wasn't as careful then as I am now, so as long as your careful about it, it shouldn't be so bad. And like I said, I haven't had a problem since.

I have been shaving the "boys" for about 6 months and find that every other day can be a necessity for your own sake (the itchy and scratchy show) I now am toying with the idea of waxing or "sugaring" type products. I am acutley aware of the possibility of severe pain that goes hand in hand with this. Anyone currently using a wax or "sugar"? I'll keep you posted on the results. The order of "NADS(T)" should be here soon. :eek:

Holy crap! Just tried NADS (T) and OMG did it hurt! I tried all the prep they suggest in the little book and it still stings really bad with a small amount (drops) of blood (mildly disconcerting) in the future I will be sticking (sic) with depilitories and the blades. By the way I highly recommend the 3 or 4 blade razors (your preffered mfgr) use this blade only for the boys the knicks your face leaves will not impress you when shaving your scrot. I also highly recommend Nivea for Men Sensitive gel (little goes a long way and very smooth skin afterwards) That's all for now if someone finds a less painful way to wax let me know till then warm shower and a little lather will be my constant friends. :(

I’m new here but I think that I found an effective alternative to shaving around the pubic area. On a recent trip to the UK I found a depilatory cream called “Veet” Sensitive Formula Hair Removal Lotion. You just apply the cream on the area wait for 10 minutes and remove the cream while taking a shower with a piece of cloth, the instructions are very clear on the back of the product, this product is European, I think is either French or British. They warn you not to use it on the genitals and around the nipples, some friends told me that they use it around the genital area without any problem, that the manufacturer states that to cover their back in case of a lawsuit. I have used the product all over my penis, balls, and pubic region and I’m extremely satisfied with this product, it has worked wonders for me. I’m very hairy and I only use this cream like once every 2 months. I recently found out that this Veet cream is widely sold in the US; I purchased some since they are exactly the same as the ones I bought in the UK. I’m extremely satisfied with this product. I've been shaving balls and shaft for several months. Usually after good PE session and the skin is softened with warm up routine. My wife likes the feel, as do I, and seem to get more oral attention than before. Same prickly problem as others, so, if I want to go deep, I keep it shaved every other day. Found a new cream that is helping a lot. it is designed for dairy use and has lanolin in it, but has softened my skin, kept the "pricklies" softer and so I don't have to shave as often (now only twice a week). Also seems to keep the jewels hanging lower:) I find "Udderly Smooth" in the pharamcy, made somewhere in OH. Give it a try and see if it helps.

Haven't tried it and really hesitate to try based on what it says on the packaging. My skin has been softer and even more sensitive since starting the process. Can only imagine that the chemicals in Nair would be worse. I use sensitive skin cream and razors with really good results. Seems like the more I do it, the nicks have ceased and the better it feels (my wife agrees:D ).

Gunz I have actually used the NAIR for men and have had mostly good results. the suggestions I have are 1) stick very close to the time frame more towards the shorter than the longer time allowed. 2) wipe off immediately if any warm sensations start (i.e. before and burning even thinks about starting) 3) I have found that getting your scrotum ready before hand (warm washcloth applied till full relaxtion of your skin) helps alot. 4) although it says not to use soap, I hop in the shower, wipe the NAIR off and then proceed with my normal shower. Biggest suggestion is to test apply it to see how you fair and never on a nite when you might be showing off your new clear cut forest. (Had some minor irritation and localized swelling after not removing within the right time limits but the apperance looked like I really had something funky going on a touch disconcerting for the ladies) Kinda like testing for colorfastness on your other carpet! Anyhow my 2 sense. Been depiliating for about 2-3 years now and switch back and forth between techniques (shaving). I would like to hear more of the lazer treatment that Victoria has mentioned with her lucky man!

I also shave my balls and my shaft. I use electric shaver to do the work. I have a Panasonic 3-head wet/dry shaver that can be washed. So I just use it to shave my beard, my shaft, and my ball in the morning, and get it washed for next day's use.

Be careful when you use it for the first few time because the middle head can sometimes cut your sac and hurt you. My suggestion is that try to extend your sac and skin using the other hand so that the skin is flat, and, if the skin still has some wrinkles, hold the shave so that the shaving head is not perpendicular to the wrinkles. Or if you not so sure of how to avoid been cut, you can get a shaver that is 2 headed instead.

Regarding removing those unwanted hairs on your shaft and your ball permanently, you can try Laser Hair Removal. Some clinics are providing this kind of services - called "Brazilian Bikini for Men". After 5 to 6 treatment, the hairs on your shaft and your ball can be permanently removed. When performing the laser on your sac, some clinic will also try to extend your sac skin so that the laser is not directly applied onto your ball to protect your ball. The only drawback is that it costs quite a fortune.

OK, my turn! I alternate depending on my mood between shaving and letting my cock and ball hair grow. When I am in a hair free moment, I shave every morning when I'm in the shower. Just some shower gel or some shaving gel - whichever is convenient - and a few swipes later I'm cleaned up and the boys are hairless. When first starting up the routine again I first take the beard trimmer - VERY CAREFULLY!! and trim the hair down before shaving. I've found that the beard trimmer can nick and be pretty painful. It also helps to be a little aroused and pull the skin I'm working on taught when shaving. The tighter the skin is , the easier it is to shave it - just like shaving your face. Also, rinsing your razor often helps get a good, clean cut of the hair each time. I usually leave the patch above my cock so I'm not totally hairless and look like a little boy.
