My advice - DO NOT SHAVE YOURSELF !!

If you must shave pubes, have someone else do it - the skin down there is soft and prone to easy infection in nicks. If no nurse or such or an aware friend who can keep the skin taut and gentlyt shave that area, use a depilatory creme, such as NAIR, easily available in supermarkets and chemists.

Again take care and don't leave it on too long - the soft skin can get painful irritation and rash from creme being on too long.

But it makes various exercises easier, no hairs pulled in the "grip the penis at base" exercises and I'm told it's more pleasant in giving head as less unwanted pubes to spit out!

I normally use a razor that I would use with my face and normal shaving creams, of course not the SAME blade for myself. :) This is a bad thing right? What is the closest and SAFEST way to shave my "fun" area? Please, show everyone's opinions so I know what everyone thinks, thanks! :D

That's what I started out with, a twin blade cartridge razor which didn't handle the long soft pubes well.
Some nicks and scabs and a week or 2 later went to the cream.

Cool, what kind of cream would be best? How about a razor? I use the Gelette Mach 3 Turbo. There must be a better way to shave that area. :( Thanks! :D

Partly from acquired knowledge when I worked in a hospital and very much from sad, bad personal experience, I really cannot stress strongly enough how DANGEROUS !! SHAVING IN THE PUBIC AREA IS !!.
The skin is so thin there and veins so close to the surface, mass bleeding is a real possibility. The shaving one hears of in that area for surgicakl purposes is on the firmer skin up on the lower belly, not the Testes.

NAIR, made by an Australian company, is the one I've used but you should be able to find some anywhere near the leg waxing material in the women's pharmacy section of the supermarket - or ask your chemist or pharmacist
