ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS!!!!!!
The above stated website provides links to zipped files. When you unzip them they extract files that are executables....NOT VIDEOS. This is how most idiots transfer viruses and trojens. DO NOT RUN THESE Videos because they are programs NOT videos. Do not use them until the above poster decides to repackage his videos using only *.mpeg files...because the files on the website are NOT *.mpeg files they are *.exe files.
If you have run them then please check your system with anti-virii software....it might not find anything but that does not mean your system is not infected if the above poster made his own virus or trojen.
Please explain yourself Stepherson! There is no reason to ship videos out using executables.

There is nothing to worry about, guys. I packaged my videos with a program that prevents unauthorized distribution of my videos. There is nothing on my website that can harm your computer in any way.

I can't beleive that...why would you try to hide that it was an executable by putting so many spaces behind the filename and the exe extention?
Besides that, unless you used a form of encryption anyone can use a hex editor to copy and past the mpeg file out of your program...granted they will have to find the begining and end of it but they could do that or simply use a video capture device. You can place a simple copywright notice on your website to protect yourself from anyone copying your materials...and that would do a lot better than placing it inside an exe.
I guess I'll have to test the program to see what it does...

No you was correct mate, viruses usually are sent in .exe files and when you open something expecting to see a .mpg or something similiar virus bells do ring. I ran it through my virus software and it checked out ok :)

I know but if he made his own virus or trojen it would not be recognized by any pattern the anti-virii software you have has. Also using a hex editor you can see an ASCII referance to a filename called server.exe...such a name is usually used for trojens allthough fairly obvioius. It just doesn't add up...hiding the exe etention and everything...it really smells funny...but you're the admin and if it's ok for you then it's ok with me....besides I use Linux so it really wouldn't bother me anyway.

if there is a reference to server.exe in the files, i suggest everyone who has viewed the videos format and reinstall windows. this could be very bad considering most of us have used our credit cards to get on to penis health etc. thankfully i was not stupid enough to run these files - it is BLATANTLY obvious, why put so many spaces between mpeg and .exe... whoever has been tricked, format and reinstall now!

yes there is if you download a hex editor it is at address 0000:2ea0 and 0000:2eb0
So those that have run the above video files search your hard drive for any file called server.exe. Also goto a dos prompt by hitting start->Run and type command.com and type in netstat -a <-I think it works on windows. Post the results here if you did run the program. This will list the open ports on your computer and we may be able to tell if the program loaded a trojen onto your computer.
The next step would be to check what apps your computer startup when it boots because if it was a trojen it would place an entry there. If you're an advanced user goto Start->run and type regedit .
Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then SOFTWARE then Microsoft then Windows then Current Version and check all entries starting with the word Run and see if any point to a filename called server.exe.
I would check the stupid thing myself but it's been over a year since I booted into windows and I hate that OS so much I don't want to now. Good luck...don't do anything else then I said and you wont screw up your computer...and exit out of the "regedit" program as soon as you can.
