90% sure BPEL. That's the standard measurement.

I'd say BPEL. One other thing is that most guys exaggerate when it comes to the penis size. Like they could add half inch to their penis size and say I have seven inch penis when their penis could actually be six and half inches long. But this isn't always the case.

i've seen info regarding average penis length going from 5.1 inches all the way up to 6.5 inches. the case of 6.5 inches is usually when the guys are allowed to measure themselves though... go figure.

I think that this (measurement) may vary from different types of people. Like countries like Japan would have different variation of the size.

I'm asian, and expected to have a smaller than average dick. Website try to say its not related to race, but I think it's pretty damned obvious isn't it!! They're just trying to avoid using the "race" token. But anyway, I reckon it'd be great to see the look on a chicks face when i surprise them with a big fat shlong! Well, give that a year or two
That's my motivation!

yeah I'm actually sick and tired of the race card and how everyone wants to use that shit on basically everything they judge.

We dont mean how we here measure our penis but what the scientific community does.

I am sure that it is BPEL. Think about it, its the only way to measure penis size where the weight wont be an issue. Heavier men will have more skin and fat tissue around the pubic bone so they need a way to null that in a study. The only way to do that is to measure by BP.

Is BPEL how most people measure it?

BP measuring is the most accurate way of getting a true measurement. A scientist trying to get the most accurate reading would eliminate the fat variable. Anyone that doesn't eliminate the fat variable either doesn't know about the BP method, or has another agenda (such as a phalloplastician trying to convince patients that they're undersized so that they'll opt for surgery).

Very stupid question: what is "BPEL" versus "NBPEL"?

Very stupid question: what is "BPEL" versus "NBPEL"?
"Bone Pressed Erect Length" as opposed to "Non Bone Pressed Erect length"
Do a forum search on both phrases for a better idea :sm24

I would also say NBPEL and agree that many men will tell a white lie when ask to measure and record size of their member due to ego conflict.

You mean BPEL i take it as if the average was 6inches NBPEL then i think 80% of us are 'small' here:sm29

In my opinion bpel is a bad way to measure the dick. Now if you pe and wanna follow gains its the best way because your pubic bone doesn't move and base skin might get stretched. But consider this a bigger person may measure at 7 inches bonepressed but have a 2inch fat pad. Therefore in actuality while say having sex the girl is only gonna get 5, and see five. Id say on average most people have between 1 inch to 1inch and a half fat pad. IF the studies are done bpel the average size is only 5 inches than (considering 6 is average)

There is no doubt that NBPEL is the best way to measure your penis and see what you really have however if they dont take into account the fat pad then all scientific researches are highly inaccurate which i don't think is the case since I assume that the must know better than that.Their results ought to be BPEL otherwise as i said earlier the average size is about 6,5'' BPEL which i think most of the honourable members of this forum would take as an exaggeration.I don't think there are more than 10-20% of the members here who have a penis as big as NBPEL 6'' without having ever done any PE.To conclude i find it unlikely that their studies are based on NBPEL measurements and assuming that its BPEL then it has now become clear that most of us are perfectly average as far as the length goes which might be suprising to us and it reveals the brainwash that we receive nowadays which is based on that we aren't within average figures therefore something is 'wrong' and we need to fix it by buying their products.

I dont know cause my fat pad is only maybe 1.5cm. And also if you do it right and thrust hard you can get past some of the fat pad. Like I said before different people have different sized fat pads and I think researches would want to even the feild for all men no matter how fat or skinny. Researches dont want uncontrollable variables when it comes to this type of stuff. Thats why I think its bpel.

I agree like i said the pubic bone doesn't move. But the point i was tryin to make a guy may have a 7 inch bpel and tell a gal that, now when he gets naked its gonna be a different story.

Exactly. You will be pushing past some of the fat pad when you have sex. The best solution would be to minimize the fat pad altogether.

Someone who works at sizegenetics perhaps could tell us if these figures on the link are BPEL or NBPEL http://www.sizegenetics.com/study6.htm . It does seem that it must be NPEL though.
