questions about jelqing

i have been doing the exercises for a short time now and i already think I'm seeing gains. I just have a quick question about jelqing. Yes I have seen the video but I just wanted to know. When the jelqing hand that I began with reaches the top of the penis should I hold on there while the other hand goes up the shaft or is it best to let go right away. In other words, is the motion meant only to put blood toward the head, or is it meant for me to hold on to the head while i jelq with the other hand, therey by like squeezing blood between the 2 hands? Thanks for any feedback.

Let go as the other hand starts....

dude1: you want to push blood up into the head when jelquing. So, if you, as you say, "hold onto the head", while jelquing then you are not getting the maximum benifit of the exercise. It is best to let go of the jelquing hand when you reach the head, and just as you let go, proceed with the alternate hand. It's like a one-after-another type of movement!
